Why I built it

I want accredited nursing schools to be easier to discover, including schools that people may not already know. I also want prospective students to be better equipped to spot questionable claims before committing their time and money.

What the platform does

NMCNCheck brings Nigerian nursing-programme listings into a searchable directory. Visitors can explore by location, programme and institution type, and see accreditation information presented alongside the listings.

A starting point for a better decision

The value is in bringing scattered information into a form people can explore and compare. Student perspectives and school visibility are part of that picture. Accreditation can change, so a directory should be a starting point for checking a school, alongside current official information.

Independent by design

NMCNCheck is an independent project. It is not affiliated with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and does not replace the Council as the authority on accreditation.
